Radford started off brightly and kept the Magdala defence busy for the whole of the first half. Simon Hore was causing problems in the air when he came up for corners and free kicks. The home keeper tipped over a Hore header on ten minutes. Not long afterwards Joe Heggarty cut inside a defender and bent a shot around the keeper only to see the ball hit a post and rebound to safety. Phil Hinton was next to see a header saved by the keeper.
Radford finally took the lead on the half hour when James Lawrence-Forbes ran through the defence and slotted the ball past the keeper. Two minutes later the keeper failed to hold on to a Joe Meakin shot and Phil Hinton nipped in to tap in from close range. Connor Carter and Phil Granville were working hard upfront but found the keeper making some excellent saves.
The second half began as the first had ended with Radford in total control. Joe Meakin had a free kick tipped over and a low drive from Joe Heggarty was saved in the early stages. Several substitutions were made by Radford. Marvellous Entiriwaa was lively on the left wing and Ibrahim Karim was working hard in the centre of midfield. Jahred Russell scored Radfords third goal on 55 minutes with a side footed finish from the edge of the area. Russell finished off a well worked move to chip the ball over the keeper to make it 4-0 to Radford. A superb Phil Hinton drive that just cleared the crossbar was the best effort by Radford in the final minutes of the game.
